UPGRADE!!! I’m always proud of this guy. I really can’t say much more than that.  Mista Vybe put out a really dope blog post yesterday (and another out today) where he speaks about having to take a couple steps back in order to go several forward.  Very few people actually get that.  We use our challenges as strength.  Bottom line.  I really recommend you check out the post. I think we have all been there.  ONE STEP BACK, TWO STEPS FORWARD! I know exactly what you’ve been wondering to yourself. “Where the hell has Vybe been?”, “How come he’s on Twitter and Facebook regularly but there’s much less updates on his Official Blog?”, and my personal favourite, “Where’s the new music?”. Well, I’m happy to formally announce that my little hiatus is over (obviously – since you’re reading this lol), and this blog post contains the answers to all these questions and more (well more or less) in this blog post. Read on to get the scoop, as I tackle the burning questions one by one.  Okay, so the hard truth on my recent whereabouts is not that easy to explain, but to sum it up in one sentence, it comes down to this simple statement: “Sometimes we need to take a step back in order to take two steps forward.”……….(more) We got this Vybe.  Steady rising to the cream of the crop.

FIGHTING DIRECTION

Haven’t we all asked for guidance?  Or said “show me a sign” or “Heads or Tails”? LOL

We read so many books that tell us to “Do what we love”.  We also listen and read many inspirational quotes that say “Don’t give up”, but how do we decide between “OBLIGATIONS AND DREAMS?

Here’s my bottom line…agree or not…my view.

First, your “OBLIGATION” is to yourself to be happy.  If you’re unhappy, then you most likely will lack drive, motivation and/or ambition to fulfill your obligations (whatever they be).  If you have “DREAMS” be realistic with them and how they measure in your life circumstance NOW.  

I know, easier said than done but People, let me tell you, I dream and like Jazmine Sullivan’s song, I “Dream Big”.  Difference is, as much as I know I can (and I do) fulfill my dreams, I make sure I don’t jeopardize my obligations with them.  

Bottom line….Don’t fight the direction, just map out a solid journey that allows you to visit both places. We as humans have to dream, its the only way we can look forward to greener pastures.

                    Found the Missing Piece to My Puzzle

Dear Universe,

Thank you. Thank you once again.

I’ve been having the hardest time thinking about “How do I introduce people to the other side of me? What I like and what I don’t.  How I deal with life and the music industry and of course, the people within it.”  Well after searching the net and observing my Twitter account, I noticed that more than one person included Tumblr.com inn their tweets.  I needed to know what it was because I figured it must be something if two people in 3 mins said something about it. 

I did my research. I asked my “Tekkie Guru”, Neeks aka YoungFreshNew and my cousin, Patrick aka Mista Vybe and we all agreed, this forum was the missing piece in assisting me with sharing this chapter of my life.  Don’t get it twisted, I have a lot more pieces to come, but THIS forum (like many others I’m using - Twitter, Facebook, Myspace, etc) is the one I need right now. 

Universe, I promise you, I’m going to work my T-Logs like no one else. That’s my Word. 

So Thank You to the Universe, Thank you to Neeks, Thank You to Patrick and Thank You to myself for seeing an opportunity and not ignoring it.
