I’m usually very private about my prayers and what I ask for.  I’m afraid of being looked at as weak.  I thrive on coming up with answers to problems before they can become issues.  However, today, I’m afraid.  I’m afraid, I don’t have the answers.  Therefore, is it my problem?  Is it my burden to bare? Or should I leave it alone and allow everyone to take their ownership for their burden that has been set for them?  Now I pray…

Dear Father, 

I give myself to you.  You know my cry and my wants.  I ask that you guide and protect my family.  Help us to make the proper decisions that will keep us on the track that you have set for us.  Help us to not be afraid of anything and continue to have the boldness and fire that separate us for the many. I thank you for the wisdom and the constant reminder that you are in my life and the lives of my loved ones. Thank you for sparing life for another day and thank you for making me a vessel for your words.  I’m ready for whatever you give to me and I will cast all fears aside because I know you know best.  I will continue to take a proactive stance in living the life that is worthy in your eyes and I will continue to love as you too love.
